HEADS UP! Currently, we cannot ship to the following locations: the EU (due to new regulations launched 12/24), and Northern Ireland (packages are being returned to us), as well as Afghanistan, Belarus, Bhutan, Brunei, Haiti, Israel, Libya, Mauritius, Niue, Russia, Sudan, Suriname, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, or Yemen (due to USPS service suspensions). As of our reopening in April of 2025, we're still shipping to Canada, but are keeping an eye on things. It's possible we may have to cease shipments in the future. :(
What's your turnaround time?
As of 04/2025, our maximum turnaround time for order fulfillment is 7-21 days, depending on order size and date. This may change depending on volume of orders, and does not include actual shipping time. Purchasing made-to-order items such as bar soap will delay fulfillment a minor amount. If there is a significant delay with your order, we'll contact you!
We pack orders Monday through Friday, and ship packages Tuesday through Saturday.
What are your shipping, refund, and return policies?
We currently ship through USPS. Please be aware that USPS sometimes experiences delays due to world events, weather, illness, etc., and so may not process things as quickly.
We are not responsible for packages lost in the mail. If you believe your package is lost, please visit this link and follow the instructions there. Please contact us if you need help with this.
If a package is returned to us because of a mistake on the buyer's part, we are willing to resend it for the cost of new postage. If a package is returned to us due to a mistake on our part, we will gladly resend it at no extra charge.
Sorry, no refunds other than for overpaid shipping on combined orders, except in cases where we have made an error in our listing.
Due to the nature of our products, we can not accept returns.
If your order arrives with incorrect or missing items, please contact us immediately so we can work out a solution. Please include your order number with in your message.
What are your international shipping rules and procedures?
Due to USPS rules, all international packages must include a legal name in order to be delivered. If they don't, they'll wind up returned to us. Please double check the address you've provided and message us ASAP if there are any errors!
In the event of a returned package (for any reason outside of our/your control), we are happy to resend it for the cost of shipping. We can also refund the order, minus the shipping costs already paid to USPS.
For customs forms, we typically label perfume oil as "Non-Flammable Bath Oil," as some postal employees assume anything labelled "perfume" contains alcohol, which has prohibited shipping. Other items are labelled normally.
We also add an item to customs forms that reads "Free Gift/Non-Flammable Bath Oil" with a value of $.01. This is the free sample(s) that we send in all packages. There is typically also a small packet of candy and a postcard in each order. If you would like us to skip any or all of these extras with your order, just let us know!
Products that contain alcohol (our Parfum Sprays and our Room & Body Sprays) CANNOT be shipped internationally due to USPS restrictions on hazardous goods. We're sorry! Any international order that contains these items will be cancelled and refunded.
Are your products cruelty free?
Yes. All products are cruelty free, and we do not sell/ship to resellers in China.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. All scent notes that could be of animal origin (e.g., honey or musk) use a synthetic duplication.
Are your products paraben-free?
No, some products contain parabens. Parabens are a useful and safe form of preservative. Without preservatives in products that need them, bacteria could easily grow, and we're not into that.
Are your products free from ________ allergen?
All our product ingredients are listed on the individual items, so please double-check those to ensure they're safe before ordering. If you have a severe allergy to an unlisted ingredient/allergen (nuts, gluten, dogs, etc.), please let us know! While these allergens are not present in the lab, they MAY present in the building.
I have a question not covered here. What's the best way to get ahold of you?
Our contact form works great for this! Messages from the form stand out in our email, so we are less likely to overlook it. We prefer it to being contacted on social media, too. Please be aware that our email is often not monitored on Saturdays and Sundays, because a work/life balance is important AF.
